The face of Dresden has changed much over the years and the history of what was originally here is fast disappearing.
There are limited records with Don Spearman’s collection, Helen Burns’ accounts, the Dresden Times, Dresden News (microfiche)
and the North Kent Leader archives. Due to the current situation the microfiche were not available but the Leader archives were invaluable. It is very possible there
are errors in recounting the evolution of these buildings. Hopefully this is long before the era of “fake news”. We are always looking
for information so if anyone has additional pictures or information please post to the Dresden Rotary Facebook page or the Dresden Virtual History Group page.
