Wasbash Woman's Institute

The WABASH WOMEN’s INSTITUTE was formed in 1947. It is a non-profit organization that actively works together for family, home, community and country. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month where family, life skills and current legislation and laws that affect the lives of our members and their families are discussed. Local history is recorded in the Tweedsmuir Record Books. The Wabash W.I. have sponsored the Wabash Scouting program for over 60 years. We donate to special projects of various local organizations and have donated many quilts to children’s services, Salvation Army, men’s and women’s shelters and fire victims.
Our goal is to make Home and Country a better place to live.
