Description
Come share history with us!
The Dresden History Group is a volunteer organization dedicated to historical preservation and education.
We operate the Dresden Virtual History Group (a Facebook member-only history sharing and discussion group) and our local Working Group organizes projects that currently include: The Dresden Archives and Dresden Hometown Heritage Tours (2nd Saturday in July).
In addition we partner with other organizations, providing historical and heritage content, and loaning artifacts and providing expertise for tours and displays that complement community efforts re: heritage tourism.
We operate under the sponsorship of the Catherine McVean Chapter IODE.
