Location: The Studio Art Gallery, 159 Brown Street, Dresden
Eligibility: Open to all local artists in and around Chatham-Kent
📣 Theme: My Canada
We invite artists to interpret this iconic yet deeply personal theme through a 12” x 12” canvas. Whether it’s the landscape, the seasons, the stories, the history, the people, or your personal corner of the country—My Canada is about showing the country from where you stand.
From our wide open skies to bustling streets, our beautiful great lakes to cultural celebrations, this show invites authentic, diverse expressions of Canadian life and identity, one square foot at a time.
🖼 Format:
All submissions must be created on a 12” x 12” canvas, wired and ready to hang. Open to all visual media that can be presented within this format.
✅ Submission Guidelines:
Please include:Up to 3 works (12” x 12” each) for consideration
High-quality images (JPG or PNG, 300 dpi)
Title, medium, year, and price for each piece
A short artist statement (150–200 words max) on how your piece(s) connect to My Canada
Your contact information and location

🧭 Who Can Apply:
Open to all local artists, emerging and established. Artists of all backgrounds and identities are encouraged to submit. Must be able to deliver the finished work to The Studio Art Gallery by June 27

🏆 Sales & Exposure:
All works will be available for sale unless otherwise requested
Artists receive 80% commission or 90% for members of The Studio Art Gallery.
The exhibition will be promoted both in-gallery and online.
